Seeking young, energetic food service professional to oversee daily operations for fun, fast-paced museum café in Norwalk, CT. Responsibilities include: scheduling, training, ordering, stocking, inventory, tracking sales, cash register management, and more. The ideal candidate will be organized, responsive, assertive and friendly. Manager must be able to foster an environment that is both employee-centric and customer-centric, while focusing on team development, maximizing sales and productivity and providing stellar customer service. Manager must create a positive atmosphere and resolve issues in an effective and efficient manner. Manager must be familiar with the all jobs within the café so that they can monitor quality. Manager must excel at time management so they can prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Manager must also ensure that the café is compliant with health codes and sanitation standards. Candidate will have experience working in similar situations, has handled food products and excels at customer service. Trainees with great people skills welcome. Average hourly rate between $8.50 to $10.50 per hour.
